Fire Awareness & Fire Warden

Course Aims 

This course is for delegates who are responsible for ensuring that the workplace is kept safe. It will provide you with the necessary training required to be a qualified Fire Warden.  It will allow you to identify Fire Hazards and Fire Safety Arrangements. 

Course Outcomes 

Upon completion, delegates will receive a Prontoport In House Certificate of Competence. The certification lasts for 36 months (3 years)

  • Personal responsibilities of employees and the self-employed 

  • Overview of relevant legislation 

  • Fire combustion and Fire spread 

  • Hazards and risks relating to fires  

  • Fire prevention

  • Fire Extinguishing

  • Risk assessments and control measures for Fire Awareness

  • The safe use of Firefighting equipment

  • Emergency procedures and Safety instructions
